I don't own a horse, but I'll be back in the saddle.

I'm blogging mid-vacation at the moment! I enjoyed a weekend in Brooklyn and Manhattan this weekend, seeing some family and old friends. Tomorrow, I leave for Portland, OR, to, amongst other things, check out the Pickathon Music Festival and ride a bike as much as possible :)
Here's my latest and greatest, working with Adrian DiMatteo on a business card that truly reflects his artistic vision. I was very pleased with the results on this, I feel that we really hit the nail on the head. Front of card:
Back of card:
Some sketches for a project that I'm working on with a favorite client of mine, the lovely Miss Liana Gabel!!!

Cornbread and butter beans.

UPDATE SUPREME! What I've been up to: Working on a poster/cover letter for Hatch Show Print. I want to intern there for the month of January, they are a slick letterpress shop that really have spanned the history of music posters. It's a really strange feeling to carve your face out of linoleum. I haven't done a self-portrait in years!
A recent freelance gig for photographer Brady Dillsworth, Americana themed, my favorite! Below, the original print:
And the digital composite:
Currently, my art is on display on BOTH FLOORS of the Owl House restaurant. It's a huge honor for me to have a show here, and it was very intimidating to fill the entire space, but I did it! The opening reception was a blast :)
I did my first landscape painting as a commission for a wedding gift. The newlyweds will be vacationing in Quebec, which is the subject of the painting as well!
I'm heading out to the other coast for the Pickathon bluegrass festival right outside of Portland, OR. Who's ready for vacation? THIS GIRL!
