Well I don't know who you are...

A happy summer to you! This June has flown by here in Portland... I'm soaking in my first summer here and doing as much as I can. At the end of July, I'll be heading up to Tacoma for the Destiny City Film Festival! Below, my finished poster for them:

I got a wonderful chance earlier this month to do live painting for the PBR art show at The Grand Central Bowl. It was a really fun art show, my model was very helpful to me in letting me dress her, and I got to meet a lot of great new people and catch up with some others. It made me feel very supported in Portland, for sure. Below, me painting!

This was my final piece for the art show.

I spent a good chunk of this month exploring on my bike. I made it down to the river as much as possible, even for fleet week! This picture features a large ship in front of the Old Steel Bridge, and of course, yours truly.

I've challenged myself to draw all of the Portland bridges this summer. My first one to tackle is the Old Steel Bridge.

I'm super excited about this opportunity that I had to work with the Ex Novo Brewing Company. I am very excited to have one of their beers this week!

I spent the solstice drawing outside in the sunshine, thinking of the transition into summer, and all of the changes that have happened since last summer. I ended up working on this portrait of Son House, which is a donation for WAYO 104.3, a new Rochester, NY radio station.
